Stella Maris Retreat Center


Stella Maris Retreat Center is located in the town of Skaneateles in central New York.
The address is 130 East Genesee Street, which is also Route 20.  It is on the east part of town,
about 1500 ft from where Route 321 dead ends into Route 20. (Website)


Getting to Skaneateles:

By airplane:  The nearest airport is the Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
Skaneateles is 35 min from the airport by car.  Taxi's are available for ~$100.
Attendees wishing the share shuttle service to reduce this expense should forward flight arrival and departure times and flight numbers to Kent Paschke (

By car: (Using a map or  Mapquest etc. is a good idea.)

From the north or from the airport:
Take Interstate 81 south to Bear Street and onto Route 690 West. Turn onto Route 695,
following signs to Auburn.  At the end of 695, turn right onto Route 5.  At the second stop
light, turn left onto Route 321, which dead ends at Route 20 in the center of Skaneateles.

From the south:
Take Interstate 81 north to Exit 12 to Route 281 north.  After about a mile, turn left onto
Route 41 north which hits Route 20 In Skaneateles.  Turn left for about 1500 ft
to reach Stella Maris.

From the West (Albany)
Take the NY State Throughway west to Interstate 481 south near Syarcuse.  Then take
Route 81 south to Route 20 west.

From the East (Rochester and Buffalo)
Take the NY State Throughway west to Exit 42 and take Route 318 to Auburn, where it
crosses Route 20.  Take Route 20 into Skaneateles.
